The iDOC Project Phases
1. Initial presentation
This is a personal discussion with an iDOC consultant and is without any obligation on your side. The iDOC consultant will give you the opportunity to review our concept based on a presentation of several case studies and practical experience. A subsequent walk-through will then give the consultant a first impression of your company’s document production and handling capabilities.
2. Consultation agreement
You are convinced our concept will help you create a more effective organisation for your document output? Our contract will lay down the objectives, services and responsibilities of the consulting project. As an option, our consultancy fee may be calculated as proportional share from the resulting savings potential.
3. Current status analysis
The basis of our consultation is the exact definition of workflows and processes as well as the costs and time (involved in your current document processing). The tools we use to determine these factors are sophisticated and unique in many ways: from electronic logging to classic statistical methods, workplace analysis and staff interviews. You define the depth of analysis and with that, the intensity, time scale and cost of the analysis.
4. Interim presentation
When the data has been gathered and evaluated, we then make an interim presentation showing the results of the current workflow and cost analysis.
5. Drafting of an optimisation strategy
In this phase of the project we are in direct contact with key departments and employees selected by you. The aim of the iDOC consultant is to simplify and reduce the time involved in the current workflows and lower costs. But rest assured that we will only optimise, and not throw established processes overboard. Where you need it, your desktop printer will still be there.
6. Presentation of results
The detailed iDOC summary will show you – depending on the depth of analysis – which (steps) measures will result in a more efficient and economic handling of your document processes.
7. All-in concept
The iDOC summary contains an optimized infrastructure proposal for highly efficient output management. To achieve this aim, we will submit an offer for system configurations and, if preferred, as unified cost per page solution which includes purchase, maintenance, repair service and consumables. It’s all inclusive.
