Konica Minolta’s new IC-305 external image controller ensures high quality colour output while making sure even complex tasks remain quite simple. Together with the bizhub PRO C6500e/eP and bizhub PRO C6500 the IC-305 forms a highly powerful team combining state-of-the-art technologies to fully meet the sophisticated requirements of CRDs and print-for-pay shops in terms of flexibility, quality and productivity.

The Konica Minolta EFI IC-305 and bizhub PRO C6500 or bizhub PRO C6500e/eP form a winning team to serve professional demands. Together, they enable operators to take full advantage of digital colour printing’s benefits: outstanding print quality, in-line finishing options and high media flexibility. Thanks to the IC-305’s intuitive user interface operating this powerful combination of printing devices and image controller is simple and straightforward.

The IC-305 external image controller is synonymous with precise and consistent colour production: Thanks to the EFI Fiery ColorWise, operators can be sure to produce precise and unfailing colour in any document – something that is critical in many businesses. For extreme colour requirements, there are the optional Fiery Graphic Arts Packages available. They combine expert tools for managing colour, proofing and controlling the workflow. Also optional is the EFI Colour Profiler Suite which creates, visualises, tests and edits colour profiles with a single solution.

IC-305 second major highlight is its capability to simplify complex tasks – with just minimal user training being necessary. Many workflow steps can easily be automated and management of all print jobs centralised. This includes both VDP (variable data printing) documents, such as brochures or personalised catalogues and non-VDP jobs. Users can control and monitor their jobs simultaneously from different desktops, both in Windows or Macintosh environments. Trouble-shooting is possible via this remote access, too. To disburden users from repetitive tasks and ensure error free printing, IC-305 makes use of Hot Folders and Virtual Printers.
