Football: A.S.Saint Etienne

Konica Minolta has become the principle partner and sponsor of the AS Saint-Etienne shirts for a period of six years.

"We have chosen A.S Saint Etienne because the football club, the team, the fans and the stadium have an enormous sympathy and a very good image all over France. We do have a lot of common values: the taste of challenge, team work, the sense of effort, exceed all personal limits, being able to transfer knowledge, humility" explained Mr. Cornillet, the President of Konica Minolta Business Solutions France.

We have chosen this strong communication platform to serve our ambitious objectives and more over establish the new brand Konica Minolta in France.

This sponsorship gives us an exclusive visibility on the shirts as well as on all the training outfits of the team. At home, banners have been put in place throughout the stadium with the Konica Minolta logo to ensure visibility during television transmissions of the match. Konica Minolta has a lounge in the Geoffroy GUICHARD stadium that will allow us to organize various public relation activities. When playing out, we will prepare activities in all cities that host first league matches. The nicest posters will be shown on CANAL+, but also on cable television. The nicest moments will be caught by specialized programs like "TELE FOOT", "Jour de Foot" and "stade2" and distributed by the national, regional and dedicated press.

Our new catch phrase "Branding via Sports" indicates more precisely, what we intend to achieve with the intensified Konica Minolta sport sponsoring activities: Our ultimate aim is to make the Konica Minolta brand well-known to people everywhere, right across Europe.
